Leia went on an adventure to the cities today and met so many kids and was so great!  We had a lady come up to us that does therapy work with English creams and  couldn’t believe how calm she was and how great she would be for it which …we want to do with her.   Everyone is so impressed with how well behaved she is. You really did an amazing job with these puppies!
Google Review:
"Recently after tons and tons of research, we
purchased a wonderful puppy from Donna at Stoney Acres Retrievers.  These puppies (two litters we saw over 8 months)were both so amazing.  The process she takes to get the puppies socialized regularly has really madeour puppy so much more well mannered than all the puppies (even othere English Cream Goldens)we've run into.  We couldn't be more happy with our choice in selecting Stoney Acres Retrievers!"

You’ve done a great job with matching up your pup’s parents!
The love you have for this (job?) does not go unnoticed.
What you allow to leave your home is amazing…and we are blessed to be a part of it.  Your pups - They ROCK

Meeting Donna was a wonderful experience. We got our beautiful fur baby Abby, who is healthy, smart, and very affectionate and loving. She has a heart  of gold and just wants to please us.

Donna raises amazing English Cream Golden Retrievers and guarantees not only that her puppies are the best, but also the new owners get everything needed for a smooth transition to their new homes.

We look forward to a lifetime of love and joy with our Abby, and a long lasting friendship with Donna Stone. If you are looking for an English Cream Golden Retriever, look no further!

We wanted to tell you how much joy Zoey has brought us since March.  She was the silver lining in this COVID pandemic.  She is filled with funny moments all the time!  She is doing well in dog training and is quite the swimmer.  Everyone she meets along our walks all smile and say she is a beautiful puppy!
Thank you for raising amazing English Cream Retrievers - she is very bright and very loveable.
Zoey sends her love.

Donna, I just want to thank you for all of your hard work . Lanie is my second English cream. My dog Julip died in October at 10 years old. Heartbreaking.
It is so obvious the attention you have given these pups. Lanie adjusted to crate great, already listens to no ( 8 week! Omg) sits patiently to eat, great at potty training! I really couldn’t ask for more. Sure there will be a lot of fun times to come, but I can tell she’s eager to please and such a loving Dog! Our family can’t thank you enough. We feel so blessed to have her and to have you as our breeder! You have been there every step!

Hi Donna,
I just wanted to let you know how great our Tahoe has been for all of us. He makes us laugh so much. He's amazing.
Do you know he used the stairs from day one??
I cannot describe to you what a wonderful personality he has.  He and Nitro play till they are wiped out. He will do anything for cookies and chatters when he gets them.
He's amazing and we are so grateful he's in our lives. Thank you!!!

Hello Donna & Tom,
Just wanted to let you know, that even though he’s only been with us for four of his twelve weeks, how happy we are that Gibson,(“Gibby”), is a part of our family!  I’m positive that there are seven other families that feel the same way right now as well as the many others who have dogs from past litters.
They’re not only the best looking dogs I’ve ever been around but their intelligence and great dispositions are what make them special.  As an active puppy,  Gibby
gets into his share of trouble but is doing really well with all of his early training and catches on very quickly.
You guys do an amazing job with these pups!   We can tell that you spent time working on the pup’s socialization during their first eight weeks. He already does very well with other people, kids and dogs.

What a joy it is for Susan and I to be a Stoney Acres “furever” family - thanks again for all that you do!

"My family and I recently purchased/"adopted" a wonderful English Cream Retriever puppy from Stoney Acres Retrievers. From the moment we met Tom and later Donna, we knew we had come to the right place. We could immediately tell that Tom and Donna have a profound love for the breed. They were an overflowing fountain of knowledge and information.

Once we began our road to finally bring our new baby home, the trip/process was flawless. Donna kept us informed through the latter parts of pregnancy and once the puppies were born, the flow of information about them was ongoing including photos and videos. When the puppies were old enough to visit, weekly gatherings occurred until that special moment when we took our bundle of joy home with us.

When the day arrived to bring our puppy home, they went over in detail how to raise our puppy including its diet (we even got a supply of food) crate training info, pedigree and vaccinations. No question from us was considered unimportant. Donna was so patience with us in selecting our special puppy, which was difficult to do since they were all so delightful. What a special treat it was to also be given a folder with photos of their dogs, a chart of linage of our puppy and other useful information.

Our experience with Stoney Acres Retrievers has been nothing short of amazing. Not only are we looking forward to many years of joy with our new puppy, Gracie, we look forward to continuing our relationship with Tom and Donna. If you are considering bringing a English Cream into your family, Stoney Acres Retrievers is the place to begin that special journey."

Oh my gosh, Donna and Thom, we LOVE this little dog. She is so very good and sweet--one little accident that was our fault not her's, her kennel is dry in the morning, knows "sit." Loves to cuddle. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into raising this bundle of sweetness!!!

1/7/2015 (2014 litter)  Barb and I couldn't be more pleased with our Mya Sophia.  What a beautiful dog with a great personality and so easy to train. Of all the dogs we've owned over the years, Mya quickly understood she potties outside not in the house.  I think she had two accidents in the house in her first week with us and thereafter goes to the door.  We believe that has allot to do with how she was raised her first 8 weeks.  She had allot of outdoor time growing up so thank you for that.   Over the Christmas holidays we've entertained over 100 people (kids and adults) at our house and everyone fell in love with Mya and of course, she shared the love.  There may be some in that number who will be getting in contact with Stoney Acres Retrievers and get a Mya of their own.  Thanks again for the beautiful dog.

We are extremely pleased with our Stoney Acres English Cream Retriever puppy. This is our first retriever and selected Stoney Acres Retrievers after encountering the Stones with their sire and
dam at the veterinary clinic before the breeding. Donna and Tom are open, honest, and
trustworthy. They kept in touch, informing us when Libby was in heat, when the breeding occurred, when the pregnancy was confirmed, and when the litter was born. They welcomed our many phone calls and replied to our emails. We were encouraged to visit the litter several times and watched as the puppies developed.  In my opinion, these pups had the very best litter experience; they were exposed to both of their parents plus another adult dog in the household and were handled by children, grandchildren, and all the forever families not to mention the veterinary clinic staff that just adored them during the birth to eight week stage. This made for a smooth integration into our household with our 7yr old French Bulldog. The Stones obtained health certifications and wellness checks prior to breeding and once the puppies were born, they obtained veterinary care, vaccinations, worming, etc. We felt assured that we were receiving a healthy, well adjusted, intelligent, beautiful puppy with a sweet, gentle temperament.
Pedigree information was provided, which was reassuring to trace heritage.
Since we live nearby, we have "Keeper" join his original pack for occasional play dates. There is nothing like watching several English Cream Retrievers running with the wind in their fur, enjoying their canine relationships as they socialize out on the trails.
This has truly been a win-win experience.

English Cream Retrievers
Every Family should have one

Here at Stoney Acres we strive to bring you quality puppies to become new additions to any family. We have puppies all over the USA: WI, MN, Illinois, Indiana, California, Alaska, Indiana, N.Y, and AZ.
Our dogs come from champion blood lines..  These dogs are often referred to as "White Goldens" or " English Cream Retrievers", and have been featured many times on Jimmy Fallon as well as the movie Santa Paws.
There are 2 major breed standards in the Golden Retriever world - one is the AKC and in the U.S. registry English Cream Goldens are registered as Golden Retrievers.  However, in the KC (British Kennel Club) the standard "English Cream Golden Retrievers" is the most common name given to the light colored European Goldens.  On our "about" page, we have a nice article about the differences between American Goldens vs English Cream Goldens. The European Golden Retriever is a Golden Retriever with a boxier head and body, and light in color.
The bottom line is that our English Cream Retrievers have the wonderful calm disposition of a Golden, with gorgeous looks - what more could you ask for as a family pet.
We usually only have one litter /year.  Our puppies are raised with love and undivided attention for 8 weeks.  We do early neurological stimulation from Day 3 to Day 14, and then continued socialization and attention until they go to their furever homes.  And full support from us for a lifetime.  Many of our families have become our best friends, and we hope you do as well!
